Talk:CPanel
From CPWiki
letosit It would be nice if you fixed the spelling and grammar errors! Even though you have some good content the errors make you look like an amateur!
- Much of this is the nature of wiki's, so there's no silver bullet. It is getting better though, for example FireFox version 2 underlines misspelled words while the user is entering entering text into forms. But I have always said, spel chequers dew knot always work rite.
Here's a suggestion:
cpWiki is your permanent source of cPanel Control Panel information. Help us in building a database of quality information about cPanel for the community.
Everybody is welcome to edit cpWiki. If you do want to post articles, go to NewArticles.
And fix "Troubleshotting"!
This webpage loads very fast What hosting provider do you use?

[edit] Chuck
I've been looking high and low for a wiki about cPanel -- and cpWiki.org is the closest I've seen to date.
- My Suggestions Are:
- Open up the home page to registered users.
- This would allow me to contribute:
- What I "do" know about.
- And post empty "stub" links (with red links) for what I "want" to know about.
- Here's the Deal:
- I realize that I am not yet qualified enough in cPanel to contribute to your selected topics.
- Frankly, I'd need to be much more advanced just to have some of those problems.
- But I AM qualified, and willing, to contribute what I know about in other areas about cPanel.
- I would prefer not requesting approval on each new topic.
- How about a more open wiki -- I think that would have an astonishing growth rate.
- I believe this would inspire new questions, answers, further discussions -- all while you are sleeping.
- And if you don't do it, somebody else will.
- Why not make cpWiki a huge factor, a repository of knowledge?
- I have seen some wiki's grow at an astonishing rate, with numerous simultaneous users.
- I've been on pages with 3 or 4 people editing it at once -- it's a riot -- and it always ends up superior to what one person would have come up with. Always!
- They just open it up.
- I think your site could be huge, if you'd just loosen up a bit.
- I mean, the worst that could happen is if you'd close it down again.
- What do you think?
- Your Honor, I rest my case.
